Lithuanian Raisin Bread (Velykos Pyragas)
Recipe For Bread Machine
1 cup milk, scalded
½ cup white raisins
¼ cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 package active dry yeast
¼ cup sugar
3 cups finely sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
Cool milk to lukewarm. Add milk to bread machine.
Combine egg, raisins and butter. Add to milk.
Add flour,¼ cup sugar, salt and yeast
Set to regular bread mode
